Annual Bikur Cholim Spring Luncheon

Bikur Cholim’s annual luncheon has been a Toronto tradition for many years and is eagerly awaited by many!

This year’s luncheon, Monday March 12th, 2012 promises to be especially successful with an exciting new location, ON THE PARK at 1095 Leslie Avenue and a program that will be both entertaining and inspiring!

The Rofeh of the Year recognition will be awarded to Zion Sasson, MD, a highly acclaimed cardiologist at Mt. Sinai Hospital and a well respected member of the Toronto Jewish Community.

Mrs. Celia Uhr will be recognized with the Ahavas Chessed Award acknowledging her active and vital role in the Bikur Cholim Toronto governance and activities.

The New Initiative Award will recognize the women that come weekly to prepare and package the food at Yenta’s Kitchen. The resounding success of this program is largely due to the dedication that these women display.

A luncheon journal will be put together for this event applauding the worthy honourees.
